Change to a Healthier Lifestyle with Cancer

Many cancer patients have difficulties knowing how to keep themselves healthy while undergoing treatment. Whether you are a mesothelioma patient who is going for treatment or if you are a breast cancer survivor, there are a multitude of things you can do to keep your body healthy and strong. Doing these things regularly will ensure that your mental and physical well-being is in its prime so that you feel better every single day. One thing you will definitely want to consider is an exercise program along with eating healthy.

Exercising Regularly


Many cancer patients, even those in remission, do not always realize the direct benefits that exercise and regular physical activity can offer. Exercise helps in terms of improving your mood and the way that you feel through the release of endorphins. Many people who workout also tend to have more energy throughout the day. It is important for you to consider developing a healthy exercise plan that can work well with your lifestyle. Try to find something that is going to be an exercise that you enjoy doing. If you like walking, you might find it beneficial to go to a local park or to buy a treadmill for your home.

You should also learn more about your body when exercising on a regular basis. Try to learn how to tell when your body is finished working out and is too tired to continue. As a cancer patient, the last thing you want to do is to workout to the point of exhaustion so it is important to only workout enough to where you feel a little bit tired but not overly exhausted. Speak with your doctor to develop a routine that will be the most beneficial for your situation.

Eating Correctly


Eating healthy is also highly advantageous for those who are undergoing cancer treatment. You also need to discuss your eating options with your doctor to ensure you are on the right track. Only a doctor will be able to tell you if your diet is healthy and is high enough in calories to provide you with ongoing energy and the right nutrients. The key to living a healthy life as a cancer patient is to know when and how to exercise without feeling exhausted and to know how to eat healthily so that your body is provided with the nutrients it needs. You will find that taking these steps with help tremendously when it comes to being a healthier and happier individual.

Expert Trainer, Christine Le Monde and I had a wonderful experience a couple weeks ago.  We were guest speakers on USC's wellness TV show called Balance!  We had an amazing time!  Hosted by the professional and effervescent Laura Coholan and Aliyah Abdullah! They focused a lot on the G-Loves and why they are the hottest item to wear for muscle burning fun.  Laura and Aliyah also asked Christine a few key question about fitness and lifestyle that are a must see!

Pop Artist Savannah Phillips Preps for Tour While Hanging Out with Harry Styles and His One Direction Band Mates

Los Angeles, CA, November 14, 2012. Can you say your friends are the hottest boy band in the world? Well, we caught up with up and coming pop princess Savannah Phillips upon her return from the UK visiting her famous boy band friends from One Direction, and she was really jazzed about spending time with guys. She says her trip was an awesome experience and London is an amazing city.

 

Now that she is back in Los Angels her focus now is to get ready for her debut upcoming tour, Her management brought in a team of well respected industry personal trainers that consists of Hedda Royce and Jared Katz. Using their experience working with pro athletes and olympians they intend to have Savannah in the best shape of her life, She says the grueling 5 month tour will be a piece of cake. 

 

Savannah intends on turning up the volume on her stage performance with more movement, lights, and band participation, She is currently in pre production with her music video for the second single on her album.
